Another Life
Long ago, a spider’s web was spun.
Now our days are filled with sorrow,
Been so long since a song was sung.
Can't keep living for tomorrow,
We can't go on––
We know it's wrong.
Maybe in another life,
When we both know the rules to this game.
In another life,
And our hearts aren't crippled with pain.
Now we can see the sun has set,
We walk alone into the night.
Must go on without regret––
Guided by constellations’ light.
We can't go on,
We know it’s wrong.
Maybe in another life,
When we both know the rules to this game.
In another life,
And our hearts aren't crippled with pain.
When we both know the rules to this game––
In another life––
And our hearts aren't crippled with pain,
Happiness is something we'll learn.
In another life,
Paths will cross when lessons are learned.
